Trumpeter Feya Faku plays music from his new and fourth album, Hope and Honour. The 10-track album was recorded live at Bird’s Eye Jazz Club in Basel, Switzerland with renowned Swiss jazz musicians. “Ornette Coleman might be meeting a very South African preacher, as jagged, edgy motifs resolve into a rousing bluesy, gospel shout”, says Business Day columnist and author Gwen Ansell describing one of tracks in the new CD.
