CHRISTMAS BY JAZZ

All Jazz and Live music lovers will be heading to the new live performance venue to support the historical Township Sunday Jam Session events, at The Old Philippi Cement Factory Towers (behind Philippi Shopping centre), crn Landsdowne & New Eisleben Road. The structure was built in the 1930’s and is being redeveloped into a township tourist destination with huge jobs creation potential. This beautiful paved area with shady trees and grassy amphitheatre is a perfect place for picnics and the venue is an ideal and safe environment for young and old to relax and enjoy a day out. The vibrant new live entertainment venue brings quality music, products and entertainment while creating sustainable jobs traders and support staff. Jazz in the factory presents Christmas by Jazz featuring best local legends i.e. Ezra Ngcukana, Mpho no Vimba, Jazz Connection, Ayanda and the Crew and many more big names. Bar Facilities provided by Didi’s Tavern.


The event is organized by Black Star Arts Production and Career Planet supported by Gugulethu SuperSpar, Red Bull, Bellstar Music, Golden Rewards Salon. Date: Sunday 20 December 09 from 2pm till 8pm. Tickets available at Gugulethu SuperSpar for R20, at the Door its R30. Bring your camp chairs, coolers, and picnic blankets. Strict security, secured parking, car wash, food stalls and art exhibition.
