Would you like to take part in a Brazilian Carnival in Cape Town?
Bloco Quilombo is inviting you to get prepared and take part in a Brazilian Carnival right here in Cape Town. They have rehearsals every Sunday from 17:00 until 19:00 at Quilombo Brazil, 87 Lower Main Road, Observatory, Cape Town. This is free.
These rehearsals will be every Sunday until the start of the festival on 21 February 2009.
"We would like to encourage Capetonians wanting to learn to play or dance Samba to join our growing Brazilian comunity here in Obs early as there are only few rehearsals until Carnival. Bring your own drum, borrow one of ours or just come and check it out!"
