The brilliant trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, passed away recently. If you are a true jazz lover, for sure, there must be a Freddie Hubbard recording somewhere in your music collection.
If you are not familiar with Freddie's music or do not have any in your collection, here is a chance to get an excellent introduction.
In paying tribute to Freddie, the guys at Bending Corners showcase his early 70's recordings. Go check out Freddies Flying. Freddie collaborated with some of the A-team jazz musicians. After listening to this I am sure it will urge you to obtain more of his recordings.
